The PVS-14R is an upgraded version of the renowned PVS-14 night vision monocular, now crafted from durable, lightweight aluminum for enhanced performance and ruggedness. The PVS-14R retains all the core features that made the PVS-14 so popular for decades \u2013 lightweight, manual gain control, built in IR and low battery indicator. \u00a0However, the PVS-14R has additional features that improve upon the PVS-14:<\/span><\/p>\n

      Device is supplied with autogated ITAR-free NNVT Gen 3 green or white phosphor image intensifier tube. Compared with the Gen2+ image intensifier tube, the Gen 3 image intensifier tube uses GaAs photocathode. GaAs is more efficient in converting photons into electrons, it can provide better resolution and sensitivity, and it can provide better observation effects in darker environments.<\/span><\/p>\n
