Designed around a modular architecture, the Proton Lite allows effortless configuration as either a monocular or binocular using the same pods. With minimalistic controls, independent flip\u2011activation, and complete user\u2011level serviceability using only a screwdriver, it eliminates unnecessary electronics and common failure points. Compared with the Gen2+ image intensifier tube, the Gen 3 image intensifier tube uses GaAs photocathode. GaAs is more efficient in converting photons into electrons, it can provide better resolution and sensitivity, and it can provide better observation effects in darker environments.<\/span><\/p>\n

      The Boson Systems Proton Lite is the next iteration of the Boson Proton ecosystem of night vision devices. Featuring completely self-contained and sealed optical pods, the Proton Lite’s optical pods can be detached and attached to the Proton Monocular Adapter to create a standalone monocular as seen in the last product photo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      Made of 7075T6 aluminum, the Proton Lite is a no-frills goggle with a simple push-button on\/off and has individual pod shut-off when rotated out of view.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
