The MDT universal adapters are compatible with most bolt-action chassis rifles that have an AR-style interface.<\/p>\n<p>The folding stock adapter adds 1.75&#8243; to your length of pull.<\/p>\n<p>Available in 1-way or a 2-way locking configuration.\u00a0The 1-way lock maintains solid, straight-line integrity when shooting while the 2-way lock provides the additional function of holding the stock securely in the folded position.<\/p>\n<p>Models for a variety of chassis and buttstock interface combinations:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"disc\">\n<li>Fixed to Fixed<\/li>\n<li>Carbine to Carbine<\/li>\n<li>Fixed to Carbine<\/li>\n<li>Carbine to Fixed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>COMPATIBILITY<\/h4>\n<p>This adapter has a solid interface and will not allow a bolt to pass through &#8211; please check your rifle configuration for compatibility. Is not compatible with our TAC21 chassis or our ESS chassis, although the ESS has it&#8217;s own Folding Buttstock available here.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Carbine \/ Fixed Interfaces<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>MDT has been using the terms \u201cFixed\u201d and \u201cCarbine\u201d to describe the interface between the chassis system and the buttstock. Our \u201cFixed\u201d chassis systems are recognizable by their \u201ctear drop\u201d shaped stock interface while our \u201cCarbine\u201d chassis systems are characterized by their \u201ccircular\u201d shaped stock interface.<\/p>\n<p>So when it comes to choosing the right adapter the choice will primarily be dictated by the shape of your chassis interface and the type of buttstock you have.
