Description:
The Quad Tube Night Vision Goggle (QTNVG) is a new ruggedized panoramic night vision system to provide operators with helmet mounted night vision device with 120-degree wide horizontal field of view enabling better observation and target identification under adverse, low light conditions. Unlike regular monocular or binocular night vision systems, the QTNVG’s panoramic nature provides the operator with greater information of his surroundings, enabling higher situational awareness allowing him to more rapidly cycle through the Observe, Orient, Decide, Act (OODA) loop.
Like conventional binocular night vision systems, the QTNVG features two parallel intensifier tubes giving the operator greater depth perception. However, it also features two laterally fused intensifier tubes significantly improving the operator’s peripheral field of view. Unlike binocular systems that only provide fields of view of approximately 40-51 degrees, the QTNVG enables operators to see 120 degrees without ever needing to rotate their head. This is an incredibly important advantage particularly in low light and close quarter battle (CQB) scenarios where operators need to be aware of their surroundings at all times.
The QTNVG is operated by a single remote battery pack and tethered to the unit via a removable power cable. The included battery pack utilizes 4 x CR123A batteries that can power the unit up to 80 hours (without IR illumination modes). The remote battery pack also functions as a counterweight, which is important considering the goggle with tubes weighs 880g.
Each unit housing waterproof is tested before it is delivered to customer.

Image intensifier tubes:
Device is supplied with NNVT Gen 2+ or Photonis ECHO green and white phosphor image intensifier tube.
The Photonis ECHO technology is the commercial grade image intensififier tube by Photonis, offering two high performance grades to the commercial market for civilian users. ECHO image intensifier tubes serve many night vision applications for users that require good range and details at night and making them perfect for sport shooters, hunters, airsoft practioners and night vision enthusiasts.
The NNVT Commercial or Military Grade Gen 2+ green and white phosphor image intensifier tubes provide incredible value for the cost and provide friendly price point without the significant performance sacrifices. NNVT intensifiers have good performance in mixed-lighting conditions.
