Description:
The Ultra-Light Articulating Night Vision Binocular – Single Control (U.A.N.V.B.-S.C.), known as the “Raptor,” builds on the lessons of previous Nocturn Industries models and incorporates direct user feedback. Engineered with a cutting-edge carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite, our injection molded material surpasses traditional polymer solutions and rivals 6061-T6 aluminum in tensile strength.
It features an ergonomic single control knob for both power and gain adjustment. Double-tapping the knob activates the IR illuminator, with an integrated indicator showing its status, and the brightness can be adjusted while the illuminator is active. Through the same knob users can disable or enable auto off when stowed. A low battery indicator alerts users when battery replacement is required.
The Raptor is compatible with standard EGAC MX-11769 and 3-pad MX-11769 image intensifier tubes, as well as PVS-14 optics and accessories. It includes an on-board battery compartment and has an external LEMO 2-pin power port. The Raptor’s image tube pod is interchangeable with U.N.V.M. “Talon”. Low-profile interpupillary distance (IPD) knobs allow easy, tool-free adjustment for rapid setup and user comfort.
The Raptor is fully designed and assembled in the United States, combining lightweight design, rugged durability, and operational versatility for professional night vision applications.

Image intensifier tubes:
Device is supplied with NNVT Gen 2+ green and white phosphor image intensifier tubes.
The NNVT Gen 2+ green and white phosphor image intensifier tubes provide incredible value for the cost and provide friendly price point without the significant performance sacrifices. NNVT intensifiers have good performance in mixed-lighting conditions.
NNVT FOM1600+ image intensifier tubes adopts new MCP processing technology and new photocathode process. It is equipped with autogating and has the characteristics of high all-weather reliability. Compared with NVT4, its sensitivity is increased to more than 800, and the SNR is greater than 25.
NNVT FOM1800+ and higher image intensifier tubes uses the latest S25R photocathode manufacturing technology. The photocathode sensitivity is higher than 1000μA/lm@2856K, and it has high sensitivity in the near-infrared band. The spectral range is from 380nm to 1100nm, with higher spectral sensitivity in the near-infrared band, capable of imaging 1064nm lasers with halo reduced to less than 0.7mm.
