1. General

These Terms and Conditions include the terms for using the Pautac (“Service Provider”) Online Store (“Service”) and the terms for ordering and shipping products. By registering for the Service or purchasing products from the Service, the user (“customer”) agrees to the terms and agrees to abide by these terms. The Service contains notices and instructions specifying these terms.

All rights to the content of the service belong to the service provider. The Service Provider has the right to change these terms and conditions. The customer accepts the changes when using the service. The contract terms valid at any given time can be seen on the service provider’s website.
The service provider is not responsible for the information on the websites of the manufacturers of the products sold in the service.


2. Registration

The customer registers by ordering from the Pautac online store and entering their personal information in the shipping information.

The customer must be a natural person of full legal age. A legal entity, ie a company, may also be a customer, but in that case the customer does not have rights for consumer customers, such as the right to return the product in accordance with clause 6 of these Terms. The same applies where the product purchased from the service is used in the course of trade. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided to the service provider.

The Service Provider has the right to refuse registration and, if necessary, to close the customer’s username.


3. Personal information and its use

Personal information about the customer is collected and stored in the customer register maintained by the service provider (Pautac online customer register). The use of personal data is described in the register statement, which can be seen on the service provider’s website.
The customer has the right to check or change personal information about himself. The customer has the option to exit this registry. The service contains instructions on information.


4. Ordering and Delivery of Products

Orders are shipped internationally, Free Carrier or Carriage Paid (designated place of delivery) Incoterms 2020. If the delivery area is otherwise delimited, the delimitation is indicated on the service. The starting price for each product is stated on the product page, the prices include the current VAT.

At the same time, any restrictions on the availability of the product are also indicated.

When ordering dual-use products, Paukatti Oy has the right to verify the identity of the end user, if necessary.

You may place an order on the Service without registering. The customer is not immediately bound by the order once the final prices have been confirmed and the invoice has been paid. Products, if in stock, will be delivered within 1-2 days of payment. If there is a delivery problem with the ordered product, the service provider will contact the customer.

4.1 Delivery and transfer outside the EU

Products on sale in the online store may be classified as dual-use products, and products considered as such may require an export permit if they are delivered outside the EU or EU001 countries. All import and customs procedures are the responsibility of the customer.

The customer is responsible for familiarizing himself with the legislation of his country of residence and must ensure that the import/ownership of the ordered goods is permitted in the receiving country. EU regulations and restrictions apply when DU products are moved or sent outside the EU.


5. Payment options

Payment for the order is handled by invoice as a prepayment delivered to the e-mail address provided by the Customer, or by Klarna invoice or installment payment.

Klarna installment payment and Klarna flexible installment payment

We offer you the opportunity to pay for your purchases in small installments. By paying Klarna in installments, you will receive the products you ordered before you have paid for them. All purchases made with Klarna installment payment are compiled into one account and monthly invoice, even if you have paid for several different orders in several different online stores using the payment method. If you wish, you can also pay off the entire debt at once.

Basic requirements for granting a Klarna installment payment.

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Your address must be found in the Finnish Population Register.
  • Proof of identity must be provided at pick-up.

When paying by invoice and in installments, you must provide your personal identification number. The lender can review the credit and address information and grant or deny credit based on it. The order is delivered only to the address entered in the Borrower’s Population Register. A reminder fee will be charged for the payment reminder, starting from EUR 5 and interest on arrears in accordance with the applicable Interest Act (reference rate plus 7% additional interest).

Klarna There is no billing surcharge in the invoice. So you get a 30-day payment period at no extra charge – you only pay the price of the product. Once you receive the invoice, you can decide whether to pay it in one or more installments.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Act. Klarna uses personal information for customer analysis, personal identification, credit rating and marketing purposes. The personal identity number is used as a customer number for customer administrative reasons.

6. Order Cancellation and Refund Right

You may cancel your order until you have paid the invoice. Cancellation must be notified in writing to info@pautac.fi. As soon as the invoice is paid, the order will be deemed confirmed and delivery of the products will begin.

Delivered Products have 14 days return policy from the time of receipt. The product cannot be exchanged for another product upon return. The product will be returned by mail. The customer pays the return shipping cost.

The consumer must regard the product as essentially unchanged and unabated until he has decided to keep the product. The product must be returned in its original marketable packaging. So keep the order shipping box or pack the product in a separate shipping material upon return. If the returned product has been used contrary to the customer’s due diligence obligations, the customer may be charged a depreciation of the product up to the full price of the product.

Products made or modified to the customer’s specifications are not subject to replacement or return.


7. Warranty

Paukatti Oy is responsible for the statutory liability for defective products. If you notice an error in the product, please contact info@pautac.fi. as soon as possible. In this case, indicate the name of the subscriber, the order number, the product name / number and an explanation of the error.

Product warranties are the responsibility of the manufacturers. For warranty issues, please contact our customer service directly.


8. Other terms and conditions

The service provider shall not be liable for any delay caused by force majeure.

Any dispute between the customer and the service provider regarding the contract will be governed by Finnish law.

The Service Provider is liable under the Consumer Protection Act for the products it sells. Whenever a product malfunction occurs, the customer must always contact the Pautac Online Customer Service first. The consumer customer shall have the option of referring the dispute between the service provider and the customer to the Consumer Disputes Board.


9. Cookies (“Cookies”)

Pautac e-commerce may use cookies to track the use of the service, to generate targeted advertising and to measure the effectiveness of advertising. A cookie is a short text file that is stored on a user’s hard disk by a web server. With the help of cookies, the Pautac Online Store can make its service even more customer-friendly and offer its customers targeted product recommendations, offers and benefits.

The user’s web browser is likely to accept cookies by default, but the user may also refuse the use of cookies in their own browser settings or by deleting cookies from their browser after using the service.
