Description:
The Ultralight Articulating Night Vision Binocular (UANVB “Katana”) remains the lightest binocular on the market, with on board power, weighing in less than 492 grams fully built. The articulating design allows for individual pod shut off, enabling the user to use one or both eyes while utilizing weapon mounted, non-passive aiming systems. End users will be able to mount and dismount vehicles easier with the low profile of the UANVB when stowed.
The UANVB features the original Friction Lock Interpupillary Adjustment feature so you can set it and forget it with no additional tools. This unit may be lightweight but does not compromise strength as it exceeds MIL-STD-810G and had been drop tested beyond NATO or TOP standards (6 feet to concrete in 6 different orientations on a single device).
This unit is light weight without compromising strength. It is rugged and exceeds IP-68, and MIL-STD-810H plus has been drop tested to the NATO 1.5 meter firearms drop test standard. Each unit housing waterproof is tested and unit is collimated before it is delivered to customer.
UANVB “Katana” is designed and hand built in New Hampshire, USA.

Image intensifier tubes:
Device is supplied with NNVT Gen 2+ green and white phosphor image intensifier tube.
The NNVT Commercial or Military Grade Gen 2+ green and white phosphor image intensifier tubes provide incredible value for the cost and provide friendly price point without the significant performance sacrifices. NNVT intensifiers have good performance in mixed-lighting conditions.
NVT6 FOM1600+ image intensifier tube adopts new MCP processing technology and new photocathode process. It is equipped with autogating and has the characteristics of high all-weather reliability. Compared with NVT4, its sensitivity is increased to more than 800, and the SNR is greater than 25.
NVT7 FOM1800+ image intensifier tube uses the latest S25R photocathode manufacturing technology. The photocathode sensitivity is higher than 1000μA/lm@2856K, and it has high sensitivity in the near-infrared band. The spectral range is from 380nm to 1100nm, with higher spectral sensitivity in the near-infrared band, capable of imaging 1064nm lasers with halo reduced to less than 0.7mm.
