The 4G High Gain image intensifier have double the gain output over traditional 4G image intensifier. The maximum tube brightness is the same, meaning that in high light situations the brightness will not change to cause excessive eye strain, and the doubled light output comes into effect once ambient light levels decrease.

Description:

The Ultralight Articulating Night Vision Binocular – Katana Ruggedized (UANVB-R) “Katana Ruggadized” is a articulating binocular housing made of high strength aerospace grade 7075-T6 aluminum. Using advanced multi-axis CNC machining an ultra lightweight and robust design is achieved, including an optimal single piece pod geometry.

This binocular includes features such as individual pod stow shutoff, IPD stops, user adjustable pod tension, and low battery indicator. The device is powered on-board by a single CR123A for a continuous runtime of ~25 hours, and equipped with a LEMO port for external power pack use to achieve extensive run time

The articulating design allows users to use one eye or both eyes enabling the simultaneous use of a thermal optic or other non-passive aiming systems. This also enables users to operate vehicles without limiting head space by eliminating the need to stow the unit upright or to tuck the pods against the helmet when stowed.

An original new “Friction Lock Interpupillary Adjustment” feature allows users to quickly and easily set IP stop distance with a simple rotate into place and forget design. No tools or knobs.

This unit is light weight without compromising strength. It is rugged and exceeds IP-68, and MIL-STD-810H plus has been drop tested to the NATO 1.5 meter firearms drop test standard. Each unit housing waterproof is tested and unit is collimated before it is delivered to customer.

The Photonis ECHO technology is the commercial grade image intensifier tube by Photonis, offering two high performance grades to the commercial market for civilian users. ECHO image intensifier tubes serve many night vision applications for users that require good range and details at night and making them perfect for sport shooters, hunters, airsoft practioners and night vision enthusiasts. The ECHO14’s with UCD 14mm provide an image with a FOV of 36° compared to standard 40°.

The 4G Image Intensifier Tube (IIT) is a more affordable version than 4G+ while maintaining a high level of performance. 4G IIT provides operators high image quality and long detection ranges in the most challenging light conditions: brightness of equipment, longevity of intensifier tubes, ability to see farther in increasingly low levels of darkness and very fast auto-gating.

The Photonis 4G+ image intensifier tubes meet the stringent requirements of modern warfare at night to deliver end-users a very high performance in all field conditions. The 4G+ technology offers extended bandwidth for high image quality on all theatres of operation, a very fast auto-gating and a small halo providing more details around light sources. Thanks to a very high Figure Of Merit (FOM) and extended sensitivity, operators benefit from the best possible range in all types of environment.

Paukatti Oy’s night vision devices (excluding manufacturer built systems which are subject to their manufacturer warranty) are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects in both material and workmanship under normal use for a period of three (3) years for night vision device housing and two (2) years for NNVT image intensifier tubes and and one (1) years for Photonis image intensifier tubes from the date of purchase.
