Description:
The PVS-14R is an upgraded version of the renowned PVS-14 night vision monocular, now crafted from durable, lightweight aluminum for enhanced performance and ruggedness. The PVS-14R retains all the core features that made the PVS-14 so popular for decades – lightweight, manual gain control, built in IR and low battery indicator. However, the PVS-14R has additional features that improve upon the PVS-14:
- Made of 7075 aircraft grade aluminum instead of polymer
- Fischer remote battery pack port adds the ability to connect an external power source for extended runtime
- CR123 batteries instead of AA gives additional run-time with the onboard battery and allows for reverse polarity so users can insert the battery in either orientation)
The PVS-14R is fully compatible with all existing PVS-14 accessories, allowing for easy integration into existing setups. Whether for military operations, search and rescue missions, or recreational nighttime activities, the PVS-14R delivers the proven performance of its predecessor, with the added benefit of increased power capacity and enhanced durability.

Image intensifier tubes:
Device is supplied with autogated ITAR-free NNVT Gen 3 green or white phosphor image intensifier tube. Compared with the Gen2+ image intensifier tube, the Gen 3 image intensifier tube uses GaAs photocathode. GaAs is more efficient in converting photons into electrons, it can provide better resolution and sensitivity, and it can provide better observation effects in darker environments.
Military Grade Gen 3 image image intensifier tubes have working temperature -45℃ ~ +55℃ and storage temperature -50℃ ~ +60℃.
Image intensifier tube specification:
